Would you like to be a volunteer trustee?

Swinton Lock Activity Centre is a small charity set in a unique environment beside the Swinton navigation canal. Its small, multi-skilled team, delivers a range of work to support young people, victims of child sexual exploitation, the arts and the training of volunteers. It has two narrowboats for environmental projects and for training boating skills.

We are looking for new volunteer trustees to help shape the future of the charity.

The trustees have responsibility for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity, and we are looking for people with commitment and experience to promote and support Swinton Lock as it embarks on its ambitious work.

If, in the first instance, you would like to receive more information on this interesting and rewarding role please contact Swinton Lock Activity Centre, 01709 578778.

If you are then still interested in becoming a Trustee we would we be delighted to hear from you and to meet with you at Swinton Lock so that you can see for yourself the diverse and exciting work the Charity is involved in.
