We are pleased to announce that our summer open day is set for Saturday 19 August 2023. The centre will be open for the community, there are pre-bookable boat trips of 50 minutes duration from 10am through until 3pm which are now live on our website, please click here to find the available tickets.
Our gallery space will be open for refreshments including hot and cold food throughout the day. We are currently planning activities for families and children. There will also be small businesses selling their products.
As always there will be a raffle and tombola on the day and there will be an opportunity to find out more about volunteering opportunities in the centre as well as providing input on what local people want from Swinton Lock Activity Centre as we start to establish our future plans.
