Neurodiversity Insight Screening is a really important process to identify exactly what is going on with your child. We know that the Autism spectrum is huge but we don’t talk enough about Co-occurring conditions in autism like Development Co-ordination Disorder (DCD) otherwise known as Dyspraxia. If your child has movement difficulties, gets fatigued, easily drops things and appears clumps they may have this specific condition #autism #DCD #neurodiversity #Screening

One year ago we had the unfortunate experience of having one of our fishing pegs vandalised- set on fire! Our fishing pegs are open to the public and free to use, so to say we were heart broken is an understatement. Our staff put out a plea for help, because as a charity we simply couldn’t afford the cost of a new peg. Luckily Swinton is full of great people and with a community like ours we had a huge outpouring of support and suggestions. Amongst them was Jake- who works for Harsco Environmental.
Harsco Environmental have not only funded the entire project, sourcing us the best materials for the job but also donated their own time to install the fishing peg. Along with some staff and volunteers, it took several days of hard graft- but the fishing peg is finished and ready to use!
We are also thrilled that Harsco have donated a sum of money to purchase fishing equipment for the new fishing club- which will be operating very soon!
We hope that you will all join us in celebrating Harsco for their enormous generosity and contribution to our community. If you are one of the lucky ones to use the peg please tag us in your fishing pics. We would love to see you all enjoying the up graded peg.
Thank you!

Everyone is going ‘quackers’ for our new and highly anticipated ADHD clinic (CQC registration pending) . We’ve had our first family queueing up outside, checking out the facilities. Whilst we love to see families of every shape and size, webbed feet and wings might be the line we draw 😂
Remember we have our ‘Meet the team’ event approaching.
🗓️ March 9th 5:30- 6:30pm.
🗓️ March 13th 12-1pm.
🗓️ March 21st 10am- 12pm.
No booking necessary, although letting us know prior would be helpful to us if you can.
We look foward to meeting you and helping to answer all you questions regarding the new clinic and what we will be offering.

How much does the screening cost I was hoping to make Friday but daughter is currently refusing school
Do you screen ADHD in adults my husband is 49 and has been referred to a NHS ADHD clinic but he's been on the waiting list for two years already and they have no idea when they'll be able to see him . would attending this event help him?
Is this service open to adults too?
Will be there for the 9th meeting

We at the National Autism & ADHD Assessment Centre are looking forward to meeting you all! Excited that our first family of ducklings 🐥 🦆🐣🐤is a great sign of spring, hope and new beginnings!
What age do you assess for ADHD from please? My little one is already diagnosed with Autism, she’s just shy of 5. Her consultant is sure she also has ADHD but cannot assess her until she’s 7 on the NHS. I just wondered if you are able to assess any earlier- and also if you can still assess when the individual is non speaking xx
Do u have to be referred buy your doctor?
How much does the screening cost for ADHD? X
I’d like to come along on 9th March
