Introducing ‘The Cabin’ our latest instalment to The Lock. This fabulous new space is ready to open the doors and welcome you for baby and toddler group, with a taster session tomorrow, 16th July.

The staff have made the space comfy and welcoming for both grown ups and kids. With new toys, mats and a great seating area for adults to put their feet up while the little ones play in a safe and secure space. Baby group is a great place to introduce your little ones to other children, socialising and learning new skills with a team of staff on hand to help. Adults taking care of small children often find baby groups a great place to enjoy a chat with a friendly face.

After the six week holiday we hope to establish a regular group, with weekly meet ups. The session this Thursday is FREE, so comment below if you fancy coming along.

There’s a ramp for accessibility and parking is available at the lock- although limited.

📍Dunn Street, Swinton Lock Activity center
📍Thursday 16th July, 9:15am start.

Our team is excited to welcome you all! Comment below if you have any questions or call us on 01709 578778.

We had a fantastic day spent with brilliant people. A group of our staff and volunteers joined forces with Andys Man Club Rotherham Wath-Upon-Dearne Tesco in the Community , Gone wild forest school and Barnsley Council Dearne Area Team to take part in the dragon boat races at Manvers Lake.

The event went very well, with thousands being raised for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Well done to everyone involved and thank you to all our supporters who braved the sun to cheer the team on!
