Suitable for private parties and corporate hospitality our boat trips always provide a great experience. Trips cost £55 for 1 hour or for trips of more than one hour this reduces to £40 per hour for up to 12 people. Boat trips can last from one to six hours, depending on the route you choose. Spirit is our wheelchair friendly accessible boat, which provides the opportunity to offer trips to people of all abilities.
Children through to the elderly thoroughly enjoy the experience of taking control of the boat, learning to navigate the lock systems or just sitting back and relaxing to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife long the way.
Our crew are friendly, experienced and happy to help you make the most of your trip on our boats.
They are all fully qualified and all hold a current CCBM and CCC certificates. Our crews have unrivalled knowledge of the local waterways and ensure that you have a safe and interesting journey.
Note: One of our volunteers has a support dog who may sometimes accompany them on the boat trip. Please indicate if this is an issue.
Note: If you are booking a trip and wish to stop off for a meal at the Pastures Lodge your trip time needs to be 3.5 hours minimum (2 hour boat travelling time and 1.5 hours for the meal time). Also be aware that a bit of a walk is required because there is no safe access on the bank outside.

A group of us hired Spirit for a 1 hour trip, it was lovely so relaxing and the crew were so helpful and friendly. The following Wednesday we joined the community boat trip, again the trip was again very relaxing and they crew were super helpful and lovely to talk to.

We booked a two hour trip for my daughter’s birthday. We were a group of 12 family members ranging in age from 5 to 72- all of us had a fantastic time. We all took turns to steer the boat and learned about the canal from the volunteers on board. The volunteers were really friendly and were great with the children. We already want to do it again! It’s so peaceful on the canal and it was lovely watching the wildlife- we spotted lots of ducklings.
